A Solid Meal
I ate my whole bowl of soup,
but I found the bowl rather hard.
I savored the seafood platter,
but had trouble digesting each shard.
The deep-dish dessert
punched a hole in my shirt,
and that pot of herbal tea
is afloat inside of me.
Yes, all of your dishes
are truly delicious,
but I think, for today,
I’ve had quite enough clay.
